Self-expression is the purest form of art. For me, my art is all about getting the things that are inside of me, out in the open. I do not censor myself. Lyrically, I say whatever is on my mind or in my heart. I do not always know what it is I am writing lyrically; sometimes I just write what is in my head regardless of whether or not I know what it means. Musically, I do not write songs as much as I let them flow out of me. Whether they are simple or complex, I do not pass judgment; they are what they are. I feel that this, “method of no method”, allows me to create from a deeper level, drawing on not only my conscious thought, but the subconscious as well. I write with no regard of what the listener will think or want to hear. I write for myself, hoping that at least a few will understand, or at least, appreciate what I do. I love art for art’s sake, but I also realize that art can be a way to bring certain things to light. I want to make art that is fulfilling to my soul and that can change the world for the good of all people.
